Wine Country Cooking Studio
As deeply involved as you might get with the scope of Yamhill Valley vineyards or the undertones of a lively pinot noir, probably nobody’s going to let you actually make wine – unless you have a few acres of vines or a degree in oenology. But the valley does offer a vivid hands-on culinary experience.
At Wine Country Cooking Studio, just upstairs from Red Hills Market in Dundee, you get to learn, cook and consume. Chefs Jody Kropf and Mark Young lead students through the preparation of exquisite, yet simple dishes that use seasonal ingredients to highlight the bounty of the Willamette Valley. Hosting a variety of classes, from winemaker dinners and whiskey socials to gluten-free and kids cooking, the school presents a hands-on approach to the cuisine of the valley.
