Lifestyle magazine format to feature the region’s wineries, dining, lodging, events and activities to attract visitors nationwide.
Bend, Ore. – January 4, 2016 – Travel Yamhill Valley has chosen 1859 Media to create Travel Yamhill Valley’s first official wine and culinary guide. The glossy, magazine-style publication will be rich in photographs and stories depicting the distinct experiences of Yamhill Valley, “Oregon’s Stomping Ground,” with its premier wineries, restaurants, hotels, inns, resorts and cultural and recreational attractions.
1859 Media will produce 50,000 copies of the guide by May 1. It will be distributed to points of interest throughout the region, delivered by mail with the May-June issue of 1859 magazine, and sent to consumers requesting information about the area as well as to other potential visitors nationwide.

The region includes the communities of McMinnville, Amity, Carlton, Dayton, Dundee, Grand Ronde, Lafayette, Newberg, Sheridan, Yamhill and Willamina.
